Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In April I farted in an elevator (-6 points). Last Sunday I punched badassbuttah in the arm (-10 points). In February I put gum in jbean81's hair (-12 points). Last Saturday I donated bone marrow to sweettink81 in a life-saving procedure (300 points). In October I helped chasingangie05 across the street (6 points).

Overall, I've been nice (278 points). For Christmas I deserve a pony!

Well at least one person asked...I haven't updated in a while but natasha was found one week ago, she really fell into a bad crowd. We found her at a junk yard...scratched up and dented (she had been in the woods)...she also had drug paraphernalia found on her (she reeks of pot and ass)...the insurance company decided to pay to have her fixed...I should be getting her back in a few more weeks....i can't think of anything else...oh the bastards stole her tag!!!!

For all of you that knew her she was a matriarch to this household...I looked up to her...respected her...admired her....and yes at times wanted to be her...and now I feel lost because one of my own has gone missing...NATASHA WHERE ARE YOU?!?!?!?! In case you don't know Natasha is a 2001 honda civic, she's black, sleek, and foreign. Sometime last night between 3 and 5 am 2 strange men entered my neighborhood, broke into my house, stole both mine and Bo's keys and took off with my car. The police were called out to my neighborhood to look for suspicious men at 3 am. None were found. Apparently because the bastards took off in my car. So today we have been changing locks and garage door codes and getting a rental car and making reports and blah blah blah. BASTARDS!!!!

So we had to take kyle to the hospital today and it was pretty scary. He woke up with a really high fever today after 1 1/2 weeks of being sick with ear infections/stomach virus. After having tylenol his fever kept going up and he wouldn't stop screaming/puking/diahhriaing. So we both called out of work, called the dr and she sent us to the ER. After a lot of crying (some kyle, a lot me), a lot of waiting, and a lot of blood drawing we were told that his stomach virus was much worse now, but there was not much they could do. We have to take him back to the doctor tomorrow to make sure he is not getting dehydrated. Anyhoo here are some new pics:

So long time no update...I will make it short and sweet.
1- Job is actually going well, after a couple of days I threatened to quit and my boss gave me a raise and a better shift 8:30-2 which is sweet because kids nap from 11-2. Heck yeah! It's also nice because I have time to do stuff now after work, I was out of it all for too long jumping back in at 40hrs a week was too much too soon.
2- Kyle is rolling over, doing pushups, and sitting up. He started 3days after he turned 3mo. old!!! That is pretty darn early, but now he is all over the place, he loves to play on the floor but he keeps rolling into stuff and he gets off of his playmat so he gets rugburn on his forehead.
3- Kyle got sick,we thought it was a cold that wouldn't clear up but it turned into bronchitis. So he has a nebulizer (breathing machine that steams out medacine) and he had to take steroids to open up his airways. Well the medicines really messed with him, he got all crabby and wouldn't sleep- not just at night but during the day too. He is off most of it now though, so hopefully he will get back to normal.
4- Jenn will like this one- we adopted a greyhound, his name is puppet, he is 3yrs old, brindle, and awesome!!

Kyle's sick, it's just a bad cold, but for babies cold's are pretty bad. I hate my job, I totally got shafted and it just started. I was supposed to be teaching older kids instead on my first day I got stuck with 2yr olds, hello I have to change diapers at home, I don't want to do it at work. I really can't stand it and the place is really disorganized too. All I keep thinking when I'm there is, "I'm giving up being with my baby for this?!?!?!

Aight so I start work on Friday. The carousel of jobs is over, I'm working full time as a teacher at Mullberry Lane preschool. It's right down the road from Gingerbread (Kyle's daycare) so I can see him everyday on my lunch break. He started daycare this monday to get used to it. Things are really looking up, I'm starting to believe now when everybody was telling me things would work out. I thought I had alot to write about but I can't concentrate I have a bad headache induced by lack of sleep caused by baby throwing up the past 2 nights due to congestion (wow it took me like 5min to think of that word). Oh last Friday night I had my first alcoholic drink in over a year. It was the best darn mudslide ever. My sister babysat Kyle so I didn't have to worry about getting him intoxicated with my milk. I was tipsy!!! Also I'm trying to restrain myself from using the finger anymore. I know Kyle doesn't get what's going on but I don't want to have a 3yr old running around on the playground flicking off any child who ticks him off. Peace out!!

so nothing ever works out like I want it to...I can't start school until september now...and the job I want doesn't help me qualify for daycare because it's not enough hours, but it's too many hours for me to work without daycare so I have to take the runner up job with alltel as the payroll assistant, it's fine but just about half the pay, but good hours so I can't complain too much...it doesn't start for 3weeks so I have three more weeks as a stay at home mom...I'm happy and sad all at the same time, and I've also given up on all sense of grammar when I type anymore, I have no will to live outside of a run-on sentence...

I'M SOOOOOO BORED TODAY!!!!

so I have a job, I start june 13th. It's an awesome job, I'm going to be a merchandising coordinator for a retail development company call winston retail services. I'll be in charge of making sure local stores (in jacksonville, daytona, and gainesville) are keeping up with the floor setups, sign-age, displays, etc. My accounts include Nike stores, Vintage Red stores, and the clothing brand Michael Kors in burdines, dillards, and macy's. It's cool because I set my own schedule and I only have to visit stores once a month, every other month, or quarterly. So I will only be working 2-3 days a week but it's awesome pay so it's ok. I'm also going back to school at the same time to finish my BA and my case against the truck company that hit me is finally going to settle next week. It's been a good week.

Big week...last thursday my mom graduated from school with her cda, then friday my little sister (katie) graduated from high school...god I feel old. This tuesday Kyle had his 2mth check up where he peed all over the scale, nurse, myself, and the hallway. His weight is up to 10lb 10oz...damn, yet he is still only in the 25th percent for his weight. He is almost 24in long which in babys is pretty long (75th %). He also had to get his first set of shots....he cried...then I cried...then Bo made fun of me...then I hit Bo. Katie also turned 18 on tuesday. I got some job offers and I have some interviews coming up. The job I'm really hoping for is payroll assistant to the food and beverage office in altell stadium. It's 9-5 monday thru friday and it's seasonal but if you sign a contract to come back with them they let you claim unemployment. So I could get 4months of being paid to be at home...sweet...

So Friday we went to the World of Nations at Met park downtown, it was like a school field trip but it was free and really nice walking around outside. After that Bo's sister-in-law made us some yummy chicken for dinner and then we came home and watched Saw (ok acting but really good story line and ending). Yesterday (sat) we woke up and had a little fun with Kyle, I've been trying all day to post pictures but LJ keeps freezing up on me. Bastard!! Later that afternoon we dropped Kyle off with my mom and headed home for some alone time. Well when we got here our wierdo sorta roommate Gordon was here...GETTING ALL OF HIS STUFF!!! HOORAY!! He is finally out. Our alone time was only delayed an hour or so, I took in a nice nap. Later that night my family brought the baby home and I made some way delicious southern fried chicken. Today it's just been me and Kyle hanging around. Bo had to get his dealing license renewed and then he stopped and is currently having wings with his friend down the road and I am enjoying some much needed down time. Hopefully I can get the pics up here one day!

So I'm like majorly stressed out about finding a job. I'm trying I really am. I've never had to apply for more than one job before landing something. I think I'm facing some really new mom discrimination. BULL SHIT!!!! Argg, at least we finally have our daycare situaition covered. Kyle's going to my mom's daycare and Bo's job is paying for it, suuwweeett. I just want to get out there so bad and I can't find anything I'm getting very depressed over here. Kyle is getting so big he weighs 8lbs now! Ok, so that might not seem like much but considering at one poing he was 5lbs15oz it is a lot. He had his 1month check up last week and he had gained 11oz in 1 week, what a pig. He is still too small for most of his clothes but it's getting better. He's sleeping again 6-7hrs a night, we went through a week where he was up every 2-3hrs, turns out he had a fungi infection on his rear and a infection in his circ. at the same time so he was not a happy camper that week. Anyhoo....if anyone knows of a job pleeaaaaaaaaaaaasssseee drop me a line. Thanks.

I already typed this message once and I accidentaly deleted it so I'm going to re-write the fast version:

1.) Had to check Kyle back into hospital last monday bacuase he had a very high jaundice score and lost 8 oz in 2 days. It was very hard, I've never cried so much.His treatment was pretty cool. He basically just stayed in a baby tanning bed for 48hrs. He got out wed and was much better. He gained all of his weight back and was eating and pooping and staying awake alot. His treatment was pretty cool. I had to pump milk to keep bringing it up to the hospital for him, but I could barely keep up with the little pig.
2.) Wed night I started having some problems so thursday (my 23rd birthday) we took kyle to his pediatrician in the am (everything went well) and we had to go to my dr in the afternoon. Friday went well bo went back to work but Katie was off from school so she stayed with me. Saturday morning I had to go to the er from some painfull issues, my mom came over to watch the baby and she cleaned our house in the process. Sweet.
3.) I had a job interview at wachovia yesterday, I won't know anything for about a week but hopefully it went well I am ready to go back to work.

that is why I've been to busy to call anyone.

So we had a baby. Kyle Dylan Smith was born thursday march 24th at 7:25pm. We went in at 6am for my induction and when I got all hooked up to the machines my doctor realized that I was actually in labor. When I was having a contraction I just thought it was the baby moving. The labor was about 9hrs which for a 1st time mom is relatively short. The funniest thing is that the baby ended up only being 6lbs 11oz when everyone thought he was going to be huge. The baby is perfect and freaking cute. Everything is going really well with him. Bo is a big help and we've actually been getting some sleep. My labor itself went very smoothly so the recovery has not been too bad so far. We checked out of the hospital sat around 3pm but we have to go back tomorrow to have some tests done because he has Jaundice (spelling??), worst case scenario he has to spend some treatments under a uv lamp at the hospital.

So, I've been 3 cm dilated for a while now and my Dr is worried I'm going to be that way for another 3weeks so we are checking into the hospital at 6am tomorrow morning where my dr is going to break my water in order to induce labor. It's so weird, I don't know what is a worse feeling not knowing when it could be or knowing. It's not that I'm upset about it all it's just that when you are pregnant for so long you just get used to it and start thinking the day will never come. My mom is going with us tomorrow morning and is going to stay the whole time, my dad is going to be there when we check in and then in the evening, and Bo's sisters and brother's will be there. Katie is coming sometime, but my sister jessica and bo's parents can't come up but we'll be fine. It's so weird thinking this time tomorrow the little guy kicking my rib cage right now will be in our arms. I'm freaking out though, I haven't been nervous about the birth until now. I'm not nervous about pain or anything I'm just nervous about Kyle being fine. Everyone is so excited it's pretty cool. We've already filled out our paper work at the hospital (St lukes), lined up the baby's insurance, and everything in the nursery/house is all ready for him. So we will be checking out saturday morning sometime but if anyone wants to call or stop by feel free to do so. Bye!!!!!
